I was nervous to get my bunion removed because I always heard getting them removed would be painful. Dr. Tarr was great, after the surgery, I felt no pain, even weeks later. I didn't even have to take any pain medication after the surgery. I had no problems or pain with my foot that I did the other one a year later. I highly recommend Dr. Tarr for anyone who has bunions. He is a fantastic podiatrist.

I visited Dr. Tarr's office for a consultation on the bone spur on top of my toe joint. This had caused me great pain for quite some time with bone rubbing on bone. Dr. Tarr was great, my exam was very thorough and his explanations of my options were very comprehensive. I decided to have the surgery and am so glad I did. Dr. Tarr is a fabulous surgeon. He is very caring and really spends time with his patients before and after surgery. His office staff is also really nice to work with. Thanks Dr. Tarr for making me be able to get back to the things I like to do without the pain.

I have bunions and in Dr. Tarr's website the information contained there sounded like what I was looking for in a podiatrist, especially that he believes a doctor and a patient become a team in treating an individual's feet. I made an appointment and the difference in care and information compared to an earlier podiatrist I had seen was like night and day! The exam was thorough and comprehensive and everything was explained carefully to me, what my problems were, what I could expect and options for treatment. I highly recommend Dr. Tarr for anyone with foot problems. Also being seen sooner rather than later can do much to prevent more serious problems later in life.

I had painful bunions and needed to consult with a podiatrist. Dr. Tarr was very thorough and explained all my options but because of the severity of my condition, surgery was my ultimate choice. I am so grateful to have had the bunionectomies (yes, I went back a second time for the other foot) and even more grateful that I was under the care of Dr. Tarr. He explained everything I should expect before the surgeries and what was expected of me for recovery. Both surgeries were very successful. Dr. Tarr is not only a great podiatrist, he is an amazing surgeon.
