Matias Laba Tweets Fractured Big Toe

Matias LabaMatias Laba of Toronto FC sustained a fracture to his big toe during a 2-0 loss to the Columbus Crew. The Argentine-born midfielder tweeted a photo of his foot in an immobilizer, captioning that he “fractured the big toe, out for a month.”

The prognosis from the TFC was longer than Laba’s, citing at least four to six weeks of recovery time. The 21 year old footballer has started in each of the 16 matches since his April 26 signing.
